Happy Thanksgiving

My mom watches Cameron during the day while I'm at work. She does a great job of playing dress up with Cameron, and here is some of latest work. She made all the costumes shown including the bib. She took Cameron's hand print and then cross stitched the turkey on the bib as a keepsake.

Cameron's first Thanksgiving was a huge success. Sure, he was a bit cranky because he's too curious to nap, but he kept the poop in the pants and the spit up was minimal. Whew! Brian and I have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving...a loving family, supportive friends and the cute little turkey pictured above.

Santa???

Nothing says I'm tired of pictures like a little bit of vomit. I was trying to take Christmas pictures of the little guy, and instead of making a scene with tears he just vomited all over "the scene." My first instinct was to clean up the mess and hose him off, but I snapped this shot before Brian took over as clean up.

Raspberries

Four months and my baby is growing up. He's awake for the better part of the day now, and sometimes he can sleep 8 hours straight at night. He's not rolling yet, but he's kicking those legs constantly. He's also quite the chatter box. Meme has been teaching him some new tricks during the day, and this is what he learned.

Feeding time

Cameron hit the 4 month mark so we started rice cereal. It's a bit of a mess when Cameron can't seem to keep his hands out of his mouth, but it hasn't stopped him from gobbling it up.

Chunky and happy!!!

This trip to the doctor was soooooo much better than the last time. Cameron is 16 pounds 9 ounces and 26 1/2 inches long. That's a 3 pound weight gain from four weeks ago for those of you keeping track. Three pounds and he doesn't even know what McDonald's is yet!!! The doctor mentioned we could start feeding him rice cereal. What the doctor didn't know was that Cameron's been getting 1-2 tablespoons of rice cereal in his bottle for a month now. Gasp! We're such the rule breakers. Well if your kid had reflux like ours did, you'd get desperate too. The funny thing was the feeding instructions sheet the doctor gave us. It states..."Do not mix rice cereal in your child's bottle. This tends to cause overeating and obesity in children." Ooops. I won't even apologize for my actions. Everyone said that kids will stop eating when they're full. Mine just never stopped eating. Look at the happiness in this kid though. He could be the poster kid for rice cereal. We just have to be sure to clean in between all his fat rolls. :-)

A naked baby is a happy baby.

Cameron doesn't seem to enjoy clothes. If you ask his Meme, I was the exact same way as a baby. Brian has this knack for making Cam squeal. I don't know what the secret is, but it cracks me, and Cam, up.
