5 months old

Five months. Five! That old cliche of "they grow up so fast" is right on the money. Cameron is finally growing into his feet, which I don't think ever fit into newborn socks. Here's what he's been up to lately.

Cameron plays with his toys all the time. The workbench is one of his favorites, and I find myself at work humming the tunes that play from it. In addition to the toys, he still enjoys being stuffed into boxes for the sake of pictures. I'm pretty sure he likes it. :-)

Cameron sits up all by himself. I'm not kidding. There's no magic hand in the picture holding him up. His center of gravity is so low and his belly supports him in the front. Yes, my little love learned to sit before rolling over.

Does this kid look like he's missing many meals? He's starting eating vegetables, and he can gobble up some carrots. He often gets distracted and decides that having a mouth full of carrots is the perfect time to practice blowing bubbles.

I cannot get a picture of Cameron rolling over. He has gone from front to back and vice versa, but I am beginning to think that was all a dream. He definitely will not flip on command, especially when the cameras are out.

My little do is such a blessing and has been so much fun these past five months. He's giggling a lot now, especially when Brian is around.
