Getting caught up

Loves this fall weather

Boots, no pants, and oreos on his face.  I'd say this was a good day.

I almost forgot I had a blog.  Goodness.  Here's the run down:

Jack is getting more mobile.  He takes a few steps and then falls into your arms.  The only problem is that he thinks the "trust fall" works on inanimate objects too.  No, Jack, the window sill will not catch you.  He is a scavenger.  Anything Cameron leaves within reach, Jack will eat.  I've caught him with an entire pizza, a bag of oreos, a half eaten bagel and a bowl of popcorn.  (Some of that was nutritious.)

Cameron is learning more and more words.  He has made such huge strides, and I can understand a huge portion of what he says or is trying to say.  He will have another evaluation for Early Steps at the end of the month, but he probably won't qualify again since you now need two areas (not just speech).  His therapist, Danielle, has agreed to stay on board with us until Cameron gets to where he needs to be.  She's amazing.

I've started teaching again.  I took a Biology teacher's maternity leave, and I love it so far.  I get to teach, which I love, but I don't stress about all that other nonsense.  If you teach in the public schools, you know what I'm taking about.  I'll be there until the 2nd semester ends which is December 23rd.  I've already had a student ask if I was going to teach them about how babies are made.  Here we go...
