First doctor's visit and a nightmare feeding

Cameron got a clean bill of health from his first doctor's visit today. He's up in weight from 8 lbs 3 oz to 8 lbs 6 oz. When we came home from the hospital, Meme had a welcome home sign in our yard and a balloon inside with this puppy attached. They are almost the same size!

This is one of the rare occasions Cameron is wide awake during the day. Usually the night is an adventure. For instance the other night he woke up screaming for some food. I went downstairs to feed him, and he proceeded to suck down 2 ounces of formula. I barely put the child in position to burp him and he decided to give me back a 1/2 oz of spit up. No big deal. I decided to change his diaper because of the rumbling sound in his tummy. I lifted his little legs for a thorough cleaning and out comes a giant fart explosion. The range of his spray fart covered his pjs, my clothes, the changing pad, the fresh diaper and my carpet. His daddy was impressed with the distance. No sooner had I dropped his legs to contain the damage before he decided to start the cleaning process with a stream of pee. It was a productive feeding.
